Wallpaper
Wallpaper is my new found love. There are so many different kinds! It is coming back and I am welcoming it with open arms. My recent purchase is by Graham and Brown. You can check out their really neat stuff here. I have big plans for this birdcage paper in the guest room, so get excited future guest. A little preview pic:

Zig Zag Wall
This was quite the undertaking!! I wanted to give up on this project multiple times, I stuck it out, and voila!
Ryan thinks it looks like a circus (which it pretty much does). The contrast is a little bolder than I had imagined. I spent so much time on this labor intensive wall, it will stay for now. At least until I get tired of it and paint it solid.

and the winner is
This rug went on sale at Anthropologie, so it made my decision making a little easier. I am glad I purchased it when I did because it is already sold out. My only complaint is the "flowers" are navy instead of black, oh well, still a good buy. Stay tuned for the office complete. Room by room, someday the house will be finished.

Happy Fathers Day
Happy Fathers Day, Dad!
This year I had Dad all to myself, ladies (Jennifer, Jamie, Janelle) better luck next year. For fathers day we went camping at lake McConaughy. Ryan and I can now cross Nebraska off our list. Nebraska is pretty, very green with tons of farm land. The lake is so different than lakes here in Colorado with white sandy beaches! It was so funny to see tractors on the launch ramps. There was one paved launch ramp and the rest were all sand. They would use the tractors to launch the boats, I guess that's how they do it in Nebraska. 
One of the few pictures from the trip, Mom and Dad's tent: complete with "nightstands," two fans, a queen blow up mattress, and fresh white sheets.
On Sunday RYAN made us homemade berry pie and ice cream. It was so delicious, he made everything from scratch, from the crust to the ice cream. I am so lucky to have such a talented husband, he calls me his sous chef.
